When I was working on A Gorgeous Plan I had more songs than would fit on an album, both from a time and a genre perspective. So for the first time I thinned out the pool of material for the album.

Earlier in the year one of the discarded songs popped up in the shuffle mix on my iPad and I re-appreciated a lot of what I wanted to convey with the song. It had some major flaws though. I decided to rebuild it. That involved moving it from my old DAW platform to a new one which was actually a great opportunity to get back to grass roots and remove some of the reliance on loops and samples in the original. It was a great learning experience.

So this track is the result. I am definitely intending to produce a video; the fusion of audio and visual is something I really want to embrace more. But for now, I'd like to share the audio; it's probably 95% final.
